We are located at 508 State Road in North Adams, Mass – along Route 2.
Our beautifully renovated former Weave Shed is located within a 240,000 sf textile mill undergoing an exciting restoration. We are a scenic 1 hour drive from the Albany and Hudson train stations, 30 minutes North of Pittsfield in Massachusetts and 20 minutes South of Bennington in Vermont.
Visiting the Berkshires? Be sure to check the cultural calendars at MASS MoCA, The CLARK, and WCMA… take a scenic drive through the rolling hills, hike one of the many nearby trails, or glide into some stellar nordic skiing.
VALUING WHAT WE MAKE AND GROW.
We experience the Berkshires as a rolling landscape full of nodes for convivial gathering – where the expanse of space and solitude in nature inspires and hones a craft of individual excellence.
Connecting each maker – from farmer to artisan to culinary innovator – is a desire to share passion and relate to the struggles and triumphs of others. Perhaps now more than ever, with a preponderance of virtual exchange and cloistered viewpoints, it is imperative to create an inspiring place to reconnect, learn, dance, laugh, and work.
An heirloom is a piece of heritage, tradition, pride. To sow an heirloom is to cultivate a connection with the way food used to be grown; the way things used to be made. It’s more than simple nostalgia. It’s a statement, a proclamation, an affinity for what is imperfect, beautiful, and totally unique. An heirloom typically requires more time and attention to grow, harvest and create. Every extra moment fulfills a purpose so every flavor, color and texture are richer for it.
